Nanotubes could replace silicon chips
It's almost impossible to believe, but then again scientists at Stanford University are often doing the unbelievable. Now, engineers from Stanford University say they have built a computer consisting of nanotubes. Nanotubes run faster than silicon chips, and use less energy. The applications for such nanotube technology are seemingly endless.
