Brown Technical Speaks Out at M&A Forum - Houston

posted by Unknown @ 08:29 0 Comments

Brown Technical Book Shop owners Steven Plumb and Noah Davis were both invited speakers at the M&A Forum held at Wortham Tower in Houston.

The Forum itself allows businessmen involved in the mergers and acquisitions process to join in a dialogue with their counterparts and forge relationships. Among the many advantages of the forum, networking is seen as the most long-lasting.

Plumb and Davis acquired the Brown Book Shop back in February and are in the process of not only breathing new life into the bookstore itself, but adding exciting new divisions like BrownToolBox.com, a one-stop shop for all your tool needs, and  BrownPetro.com, a comprehensive news media site focusing on the oil & gas industry.

Brown Book Shop was established back in 1946 and has been an industry leader for more than half a century.  Brown specializes in trade books for industry professionals, everything from petroleum & chemical engineering to piping, rigging, construction, and more.

The M&A Forum believes that networking is as important today as it has ever been.  Getting together with one's peers inside the community is still the best way of doing business and exchanging ideas with one's counterparts. Among the benefits of joining the forum are:
  1. RSVP for events
  2. "Netweave" the rest of the month when there are no events
  3. Post the companies you are buying or selling
  4. Find support form members
  5. Start groups around industries or markets
  6. Start forums or discussions about specific topics
The Brown Book Shop located at 1517 San Jacinto in the heart of downtown Houston.  Stop by any Monday-Friday.

Give them a call at 713-652-3937, or check them out online at BrownBookShop.com.

Brown Books Shop, est. in 1946, is America's leading technical bookstore.  Brown Knows Books.
