ExxonMobil Sees Rise in Liquid Hydrocarbon Reserves

ExxonMobil is reporting proportional gains in its reserves of liquid hydrocarbon to their best levels in more than a decade.  Global reserves have climbed from 51 percent in 2012 to 53 percent in 2013.

The 2010 acquisition of XTO by ExxonMobil is still coming under fire from some industry analysts however, believing it will only add to the glut of gas reserves on the rise due to new shale fields.
